    Post hole digger.

    I viewed various similar items over many differing retail outlets and this item seemed good value for money, I didn't expect it to be top quality but I was pleased with the grade of blade steel and the area of welds that the blade is secured to the hinge . One fault was that the hinge bolt was overtighted at the factory so I had to back off the nut a few turn to allow the blades to move , other than that I was pleased with the item, I have used the spade and they work well, I would definitely buy them again.

    Sturdy construction

    Overall very good,very sturdy construction, but the bolt at the hinge should be 10mm longer to enable a Nylock nut to be used instead of the one used as the handles on mine became loose sveral times, I solved the problem as I have suggested to you and NO More trouble. thanks for a great tool at a good price.johnb

    Works ok in soft ground

    Good weight for all its fibreglass but the middle bolt was done up excessively tight, so i had tk back it off as i thought the handles were going to break opening them. However its only good in soft grount hit a gravel level and it cannot punch through and in clay it cant squeese so you need use a post hole shovel tk break the ground and this to remove the loosened debris. Not the all in one solution i had hoped.

    This implement is going to make light work of the project in hand, and will not have to use so much concrete to secure posts, as by hand digging the hole can collapse.
