I had a very slight issue with my as far as initial fitment, but a light sanding to the two guide disks (see attached picture) and now it fits perfectly. I made the seller aware of this slight adjustment, which they should be able to easily correct on future caps.

    Lens cap fits like a glove and is built to last. The cap for the Canon 300mm 2.8 is such a perfect replacement for the soft cap that this lens comes with.

    Like the lens it's designed to protect, this thing feels solid and well-made. It's infinitely easier to use than the Canon faux-leather lens cap the lens comes with. Seller's comments about it working with gloves look legit; the pinch points are big enough to manipulate easily.
