much better than the EASTCap it replaced
Unlike EASYCap, made by various mystery pirate electronics cloners in china, with scads of badly functioning drivers and impossible to follow instructions, this is a product (also made in china) that is supported by an american company with periodically updated drivers to fix errors and with instructions written in english by english speakers. There are 2 versions, the one that has up to win7 32/64 drivers (that I bought for $10) is version one and can be found heavily discounted now that version 2 with a different chipset is out and has drivers up to win10. I downloaded the latest manual and drivers and from SIIG's website and used those rather than the manual and drivers it came with. IT works very well.
