    simple and instant

    Never used this before and repaired 4 pairs of trousers(small thigh wear/tears and ankle bottom seams) and a goretex jacket (detached waterproof seams) in 1-2 hours. A medium hot iron is sufficient and you can do one or two sided repairs and multi-layer repairs I bought a second packet the day I got it, great stuff, wish I'd known about it years ago

    So invisible you can't see it to apply it

    I was very disappointed with this. It is so badly deisgned that it is a challenge to work out which side goes down and if you get it wrong (which is dead easy to do) you have ruined whatever it was you were trying to mend. I had a good mind to ask for a refund but couldn't be bothered. If the manufacturer did a couple of simple things to rectify this, such as labeling the side that goes up on a peel off waxed paper backing, it could be quite useful. As it is, forget it.

    Mixed review.

    Product was easy to use but definately not invisible and the adhesive wasn't great. We were using it on a curtain and it was no good for the repair but we have kept the rest for clothes repairs that don't need to be invisible.

    Not invisible, you need a patch

    OK, so this is basically an iron-on glue. I expected some kind of invisible patch webbing to fix a hole. However this is just iron-on glue that adheres a patch to material. So if that's what you want, it's perfect. It's not what I wanted so wasn't perfect. Did the job though.

    well...

    Since I have never used anything like this before it's difficult to comment whether it's good value and that's why I'm giving it mid rating. It's definitely easy to use but it falls off after a wash which may mean I'm doing it wrong or it's just poor quality.
