Product Information
The first expansion for Civilization's sci-fi offshoot, Rising Tide offers new ocean-based gameplay, new traits, four new factions, and two new biomes. Gamers can now expand their colonies into the ocean, with the new floating settlements giving them access to more resources and new avenues of gameplay, but also introducing them to water-dwelling alien beasts. A new diplomacy system adds Fear and Respect leader attributes, players can choose from four new colonization sponsors, and the two new biomes include young planets full of volcanic activity, and older worlds encased in ice.
