Pleasantly Surprised
My well house is a stand alone 10’ x 14’ block and wood structure. I needed a heater that would keep my water pressure tank, softening system and associated lines from freezing during the winter. Although this heating unit was more expensive than a fan forced portable heater, the savings in electricity will off set the cost. The unit arrived in perfect condition. NOTE: this heater does NOT come with a power cord and you must purchase one separately. It ships set up for a 220v hard wire installation, but is field convertible to 120v. Easy to do following the well written instructions that came with the unit. Converted the unit to a 120v plug-in unit and mounted on the wall in about 40 min. Works like a champ! It keeps my well house well above freezing, which is what it is designed to do. This heater does not provide a “toasty” environment, but that was not what it is designed for.
