Good value Plug-in door chime

It is easy to set up and use, the doorbell chimes are quite amusing especially the ones in Mandarin Chinese. I like it..... hopefully durable. Time will tell. I do recommend it for the price, it is only a door bell.

Reasonable quality, but features could be improved

I felt the volume should have been louder. The chimes certainly weren't as loud as the old bell. As I got the Twin Plug, I found it difficult getting them both to deliver the same chime. It's a shame the instructions didn't number the chimes, so they could be co-ordinated. I had to count through to make sure both units had the same chime, which was quite time-consuming. Apart from that, they were a reasonable price, but I probably wouldn't get that make again.

Can't use the socket.

Well, it works. The sounds are a little on the raucous side. But the main problem is that the pin apertures of the mains socket are just too small for any of my plugs to fit into. Looks like they've been designed to be the same dimensions as the plug pins, with no allowance for clearance! Which is a shame, as it would be a good feature of the product if it worked.

Suits me.

I dithered over the "good quality" choice. I have had these door bells for a number of years under different brand names (but definitely the same product) and they work well for me with one proviso: They don't enjoy power cuts - so much so that I have had to replace the bell units on a number of occasions because we have had the misfortune to endure a number of power cuts and the bell units tend to break when that happens. Otherwise, good for the money and just what i need.
