  • Knit yourself jackets that are not run of the mill

    This book is a collection of jackets, along with their complete directions for knitting, that go beyond the pale. Included are classic designs, many with a slight twist to make the finished garment stand out in the crowd. The directions are complete and while none would be consider beginner projects, they are quite doable for the average knitter when time and care are given to follow directions. This author/knitter is a fan of Chanel, and many of the designs reflect that interest. I will be knitting many of these lovely patterns for myself and as gifts. There is a section in the back that deals with each of the stitches used in the garment with clear pictures. Also, careful measurements for the body intended the wear your finished garment as well as fit, fiber and the finishing touches ...
