They were waterproof in moderate rain. They are comfortable on uneven surfaces and the grip in the wet is good. My only hope is that I do not encounter the same fault as on my previous pair on which the upper became detached from the sole on one of the trainers along a length of about 75mm. Initially, The tear in the material was not visible to the naked eye.
