    I may be biased having worked on it...

    The book is a perfect example of the transition between fanzines and compilation reference books. I worked on the fanzine that was written by Mary Smith and Jeffrey Branch predominantly and even had my own column. I wish I could get my hands on some of Mary's actual fanzines because I was literally 9 years old writing articles and physically mailing them off in the early 90s LOL.
