    Ingenious product.

    Easy to program. Blends into the wall you cannot notice it is there. Keeps very accurate temperature, and keeps the window A/C from short cycling as it is not in the path of the air discharge which is common on small A/C's with low air flow. With the unit in the receptacle down low in you have to stoop to see the display.Hard to read. BEWARE You will need a A/C or heater that will return to its previous setting if power is removed from it. Unplug your unit and wait 2 minutes then plug back in. If you have to reset the unit temperature or turn unit back on then this product will not work for that appliance. Otherwise a very good product

    Glad we switched to these from the last one we used.

    We have used another pass-through thermostat like this that had a remote and it ate batteries at a rapid rate and then stopped working as soon as the remote control batteries died. I use these to control parts of a heating system in buildings that are unoccupied for weeks or months. I need something that I don' have to watch all the time.

    I am currently using 7 of these for 6 to 7 years with fautless operation.I use these to control mostly oil space heaters by setting the heater controls to high and using the thermostat to set the temp and if need to set the days and time.I have heaters that have 3 settings 600/900/1500 watt settings so I can lower the wattage if needed.If set at 1500 watts (12.5 amps) then has to be on it,s own circuit shared with lights ,TV,stereo,computer etc but nothing else

    Excellent device

    Pros: Weekday-Weekend programmable for 4 day-night periods. Cons: I've never found an ON to override timer setting to just check my equipment (but there is an OFF setting to override the timer and force it off), but for what I use it for, it's certainly not a deal breaker. Overall - It's solid, has worked flawlessly, does the magic I need it to do and pays for itself in electric savings. Recommended.
