    Wish it be ASA5506W-X

    The ASA5506-X is robust as always, it came in with code 9.6 and FirePower 5.4.1. Upgrading it to 9.8 took me about 10 minutes but it took a very considerable amount of time to complete the FirePower upgrade, and the patch (Hotfix). I need Anyconnect configured in the near future. Considering this model does NOT come with wireless module, I have to compromise my design not to protect the WiFi traffic (hosted on ISP modem/router), and I am not planning to purchase another wireless router so that I could set it behind the FW. It's cheaper to get 802.1ac wifi router than to buy ASA5506W-X (almost double the price of this one).

    Learning curve with new iOS.

    Cisco ASAs are a great value for the money. There are some minor changes, i.e. the "outside" is not labeled "0/1" as in previous ASAs. Now it is "1/1". Little things. The iOS has a learning curve for administrators accustomed to cars of previous work.
