Lovely Series
I'm surprised by how well this series has stood the test of time. My wife, who didn't know it, is enjoying it a lot. The great thing about it is that it gives fair time to a large cast of beautifully written, passionately acted characters: it's not just about the kids. This is a very basic DVD set-there aren't even subtitles, but it is a nice trip back to the fading disappointments of the Clinton years, when America still held on to a semblance of self-respect, before 9/11 and their worst demons overtook them. The music is, for the most part, still pretty good; the clothes, not as bad as you'd expect; the attitudes, for the most part, are still recognisable, despite the gulf of events that separate then from now.I'm surprised by how well this series has stood the test of time. A great series!
Oh my god I wish they had filmed more episodes and series I forgot how much I love this show! Takes you right back to teenagehood and I do love reminiscing about the 90s. A great great show.

I first watched this back when I was a teenager (many moons ago). I loved it. Then when my daughter entered her mid teens I bought the box set for her, she also loved it now my two step daughter's are in their teens I'm passing down the joy to them and I'm 100% sure they'll love it as much as I still do. It's a timeless classic. I bought this DVD product as i loved watching it on tv years years ago and still do. the product is disappointing as there are no subtitles on it, i am hard of hearing and need subtitles to tell me what they are saying and doing and what the story is about. This drama series is the only one made and its a great thing to be watched and i would recommend it to any hearing persons but not to the hard of hearingI bought this DVD product as i loved watching it on tv years years ago and still do. the product is disappointing as there are no subtitles on it, i am hard of hearing and need subtitles to tell me what they are saying and doing and what the story is about.
