    AXXV Works Well, But Not Perfectly.

    I installed this on my existing AXWK gate opener system that included the AXWV 433 MHz Wireless Vehicle Sensor which wasn't reliably sensing and opening the vehicles even after frequent battery changes. I purchased this AXXV Wired Vehicle Sensor thinking that it would be more reliable, which it is, but it's not perfect. The problem I'm having is with my lifted Chevy 1500 truck that when I drive past the sensor faster than about 5 MPH the gate won't reliably open. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. So, I've resorted to staking and marking the location of this buried AXXV sensor so I can stop the truck next to it and wait for the gate to begin opening. Like I said, it works a lot more reliably now than the wireless sensor did, but it's not perfect.
