    Once setup you never have to touch it.

    Very versatile timer with three timers per day and the ability to have different timers at the weekend .Its timekeeping is excellent. The time is maintained by an internal battery in the event of a power outage. The initial setup of the timers is a bit tricky but once you get the hang of the procedure you soon get the hang of it. It also has the ability to be manually controlled enabling any timer to be advanced to the next setting i.e. when it's on you can turn the current timer off or vice versa. I would happily recommend this produce to anybody.

    The same again

    I replaced the identical model because the previous one was over 20 years old and the internal battery no longer kept the settings on a power cut. It was a ten minute job to remove and replace. It is essential for reasons I will go into here to switch off the power before you start. I was somewhat astonished to read on the box - Made In England.

    Fitting New Programmer

    Our old unit which was 20 years old still lit up but our boiler stopped working, called our local fitter and he told me to fit a new programmer, he said the back plate would take the new unit and just two screws under the bottom needed to be undone. It arrived quickly and had no trouble fitting this to the back plate, our boiler now works like a treat. If you fairly compete at DIY you should have no trouble doing this yourself
