The Duke of Scotland (Michael Fassbender) receives a prophecy from three witches that he will one day become King of Scotland. Consumed with ambition and encouraged to act by his wife (Marion Cotillard), Macbeth plots to murder the king and take the throne for himself. Also stars Elizzabeth Debicki, Sean Harris, David Thewlis and Paddy Considine.

    Not good for GCSE and boring

    Not a good movie. Bought it as my daughter is studying Macbeth for her Gcse and it's boring and quite different to her books.
