    Having an interest in philosophy and nihilism, I stumbled across a philosopher named Albert Camus. He is largely known for his idea which he coined "absurdism". Wikipedia can sum up his thoughts in this matter better than I can; "Accordingly, absurdism is a philosophical school of thought stating that the efforts of humanity to find inherent meaning will ultimately fail (and hence are absurd) because the sheer amount of information as well as the vast realm of the unknown make total certainty impossible." I then discovered that Albert Camus had written a few fictional stories. One book kept cropping up, "The Outsider". For me, the story resonated somewhat, however, I'm not sure it will with everyone.
