    So Far So Good

    Installation: Pretty straight forward if you are used to installing controllers. Recommend getting it connected to your WiFi in the house first, then mounting and wiring in the zones second. As a plus, the keyhole and lower mounting hole line up perfectly with my old "dumb" Rainbird controller, so I did not have to add more holes to my garage wall. App: Was easy to find in Google Play. Easy to set the controller up if you are used to setting up smart devices. Nice to be able to name the zones. The smart watering feature is a great idea but the resultant watering periodicity (time between waterings) that it recommends is woefully long. My flowers and grass would die in my Texas summer heat if I used the smart watering feature. Experience: Been running for about a week now. ...

    Well worth your effort and $price$

    Greet Product! Stay away from the Rainbird ST8-WiFi controller. It's REALLY BAD! Constantly loses WiFi connections. You will speed much time on the phone with their help line without really solving the problem and still losing WiFi connections again and again. I've had it for many years and I finally gave up and went with the Orbit B-hyve XR-8. There will be a slight learning curve but it's worth it. You will find it much more powerful and easier once you get to know how to program it. Well worth your effort and $price$

    This product is awesome! Replaced my 10 year old controller. Easy to install and connect to local network. Additional zone configuration took about 15 minutes with the B-have app. Love it! Works great!

    Great product in the Wi-Fi control generation.

    Better than advertised... Solid, easy to set up and works great. I mounted mine outside in Minnesota so I bought a protective box made by Orbit to protect it from the harsh outside weather conditions and I also purchased a rain/freeze sensor as well.
