    go buy a copy of this book now!

    I bought this book on a recommendation, so glad I did. Quirky letter format starts with how to hand sew various stitches, and goes on into great detail about Colonial life. Need a shirt pattern, information on fabric choices (hard), a cookie recipe, and directions on building an outdoor oven to bake them? This is the book for you! It's a hoard of information, and a good read.
