Lightweight and portable which unlike a tripod is really what you are looking for with a monopod.. The locking clips on the leg ensure that the extended section remains in position unlike my previous monopd that had a twist grip to secure it. Nice soft grip handle makes this double up as a comfortable walking pole. All in all great value for money. Not sure if the bag will get a lot of use but still a great bonus.

Great product as it saves space - compared to a tripod. It also reaches much higher [1.74m] than my tripod (although there may be versions that reach a lot higher). Good value for money.

This little pole has revolutionised my photos. I can take photos down to 2 second exposure which opens up a whole new world of photos in low light situations. Its so compact and easy to use in practise Its a must have in your collection of kit.

Reasonably lightweight, well constructed and whilst it does not provide the same level of stability as a tripod, it is a very good substitute. I have either a 'still' or a 'video' camera attached, collapse the bottom two sections and carry it horizontally at its balance point - quite comfortable and I'm ready to shoot in seconds. Adjustment is quick and positive. Warning; after taking shots, particularly of a panoramic nature, check that the stud at the base has not become loosened Tip; In use, it can be made more stable if there is a convenient fence/post/wall or other support that you can hold it up against. Illustrated as doubling as a walking aid - if you need one, better off getting yourself a proper walking stick!

well what can be said about this, its great for those day trips out where taking your full camera equipment isn't ideal. when you've not got the camera attached its a handy walking aid/stick. attaching the camera takes seconds. my only negative view point is when using a larger lens, I've a 600mm telephoto & as obvious during any sort of windy conditions image stabilisation is pretty hard using this mono-pod.. however this can also be said about using a traditional tripod. ultimately this is a great product at a great price
