I have been baking bread for a few years now. my old Fast Bake bread maker gave up so had to get a new one. The Andrew James Bread Maker came with a very good discount which made it a very good offer and not to be missed. so I bought it only to get a further discount at check out. I am delighted with the results and still learning to use this well made, versatile and very easy to used machine. Instruction booklet is easy to understand and there is some very good recipes. In all I must give this a 10/10 Thank you Andrew James

Disappointed with the end results bread and cake do not colour on the top almost taste uncooked, I have persevered with this item with no success . I am interested to enquire if this item was tested using their own instructions. I have tried dried and fresh yeast also i have tried a starter yeast to ensure the yeast is active I did read the feed back of some comments .i would like to know how they got their good results. I would have sent this item back but by the time i had tried to get good results i was out of time to send it back.

I've never had a bread maker before, and it took a lot of research to decide on this one. I'm very fussy about eating good food and I know precisely what I want when it comes to bread. I won't eat the cheap commercial stuff, but being keen on good sourdough I've been paying as much as £4.00 a loaf for bread that just seemed to decline in quality all the time. So I made a starter culture and begun to make my own; very time-consuming, and having had quite a bit of surgery on both hands it wasn't ideal for me to do it all by hand. Also uses quite a bit of energy using the big oven two or three times a week. My research led me to this machine and I couldn't be better pleased, you don't have to use the pre-set programmes as it's possible to just knead dough and then leave it to rise for as long as you like; then when you're ready there's a 'bake' setting which you can use exactly as you would your oven. The bread which it produces is head and shoulders above anything I can buy, even from the expensive artisan bakers. The machine is easy to use, easy to clean and looks fine when not in use. I recommend it highly and if it ever broke I'd buy another.Read full review
