About this product
The Apple AirPort Extreme router helps setup a wireless network with complete ease. It is designed to offer 3 times faster Wi-Fi speed for quick connectivity. You can conveniently connect multiple bandwidth-consuming applications or devices like printers, iPhone, Apple TV to this router.
Airport Extreme is easy set up with strong performance
Have used these for years around our farm network, we have 7 routers around the buildings, and they are so much stronger than other brands which fall over for no apparent reason. Apple have stopped making the new ones and this is great value.

Better than MESH if your house is large or has thick walls
Apple AirPort is still the best WiFi system if you want to HARDWIRE your nodes. Most MESH systems DO NOT support Ethernet connections between nodes. Why would you want to wire WiFi nodes, you ask. Well, if you ask, you probably don't need to, but the reason is that MESH systems often do not work in very large properties or ones with very thick walls - like mine. I HAVE to wire my nodes, and each one only covers a single or two rooms. Only an AirPort network in "roaming" configuration will do this and create a single network ID.
