Return policy details
NO returns are accepted on auction purchases. All auction sales are final. We do not operate a garment/accessory hire or loan facility and items cannot be bought to be worn and/or used and then returned to us for a refund. For that reason all items (excluding auction sales) are dispatched with a security tag. Please read the following returns information in connection with all other purchases:
Returns are accepted in accordance with your statutory rights and under the Distance Selling Regulations customers in the EU have seven working days (starting with the day after receipt of the goods) to cancel their purchase (unless it is a purchase of unwanted pierced products, earrings, hosiery, or tailor-made / customised products and cosmetic products which in the interests of hygiene are NOT returnable) by giving us notice in writing. In this instance, we will provide a full refund within 30 days via the original method of payment but you must return the cancelled items to us. If we do not receive the cancelled items back, we may arrange to collect them from you at your cost.
Any items that are returned to us will need to have a return code from us and must be sent via a tracked/delivery confirmation postage/shipping method with an appropriate level of compensation/insurance for loss, damage or non-delivery.
Penelope's Vintage Labels cannot be held responsible for any items or products damaged or lost in transit. All items or products returned to us are at your own risk.
Items returned to us must be in their original, unworn and unused condition and in the original undamaged box/packaging as dispatched to you. All items MUST be returned with the original security tag in place. Any items returned with damaged/replaced/cut or tampered with security tags will be deemed to have been worn and used and no refund will be issued.
Upon receipt of the returned goods by us in their original condition we will refund the purchase price paid by you using your original method of payment within 30 days of receipt of the goods, excluding the cost of postage/delivery (i.e. the original cost of postage/shipping paid by you AND the cost incurred by you in returning the item/s to us) which is not refundable.
Earrings, pierced items and cosmetics/perfume are EXCLUDED from the return policy.
Please note that the Returns Policy only applies to EU customers and specifically excludes customers outside the EU.
Any items sent under a free shipping/free delivery offer will incur a charge where that item is subsequently returned to us for a refund of the purchase price.
