This was the cheapest Leaf blower/vac I could find anywhere online. It is not as bad as others I have used before but I think it will break if trying to pick up things other than leaves. Now before you say its only for leaves we have a 200 year old Conker tree which not only sheds its leaves but conkers and their outer casing, With a fresh fall of leaves every day it is like a minefield so all I can use it for is to blow what I can then use a rake. Tried it on the lawn at the rear of the house which is plagued with sycamores, it was good with dry leaves but was a pain with wet ones. The collection bag has a zip to make it easy to empty which is good because the bag holder comes off all the time due to a poor design and it catches your leg all the time, I solved this by using the carry strap to tie the bag to the handle which seems to overcome this issue. Sorry to be on a downer about this product but try it and if it fails to do the job send it back.Read full review

quality 5 stars ,value 5 stars yes I would recommend it BUT why would anybody in there right mind make a white product to use in the garden it lasted about 2 minutes before it was looking like a right mess yes it does the job but the original one was black and stood the test of time this looks like an old sack after just one use ...

I had the B&D blower vac stored in the attic for many years. I took it down and decided to replace the original bag which had a broken zip. The bag I received was new and exactly the same as the original. It was sold at a very fair price when compared to the usual spare outlets. Thats the good news. The bad news is I had forgotten how weak the original design and materials are. I decided that in use I would never let the bag get more than half full. I can't tell you how that strategy would have worked out because the motor of blow vac burnt out on first use with the new bag.

My Black and Decker Gw250 leaf blower must be about 12 years old and when a mouse decided to make his nest in the bag, destroying it in the process last winter. I did not expect to find it still in production in its original format. I was very chuffed to find that a New bag was less than fifth of the cost of a new one. I ordered a new one from a main agent and received it in less than four days. It fitted my old unit perfectly and I used it constantly for two weeks. It is very strong and made from durable synthetic material for strength and to resist damp and rotting. It is easy to use and to empty via the strong zip front edge. Just watch out for mice when you store it for the idle season.

Bought this as an original manufacturers replacement and was expecting better quality. The bag is sturdy enough and the zip is good, but the rubber straps at either end are simply not adequate enough to hold the weight of a even a half bag of dry leaves, let alone a full bag without the whole lot pulling off the vac. I've had to reinforce them with cable ties, which is really not good enough.
