I've used several high heat paints in the past but they were all aerosol based. You get a lot of paint in this tin in comparison but there is a tradeoff. Where rust was taken care of by the aerosol products, the Blackfriar paint struggles to cope and it's still apparent after 2 full coats. The other biggie is that it claims to be resistant to 600c but its only suitable for applications that don't have flames. My wood burner can only be partially painted and my BBQ too. Once Blackfriar address this issue and get better coverage then it would be a good product. At the moment it sits quite low on versatility.
