Would certainly recommend this album to either new or old Dylan fans Takes a new perspective on familiar tunes Might be biased as have always liked his music since those early 1960's

So many great tracks - including both the "electric" Dylan's first appearance - and number [Maggie's Farm] at Newport in 1965, and almost a year later the "Judas" moment just before the final song [Like a Rolling Stone] from the 2nd, "electric" half of his concert at the Free Trade Hall, Manchester. But also great "alternate" studio recordings of classic songs including "Visions of Johanna" and "Mr Tambourine Man". If I had to pick just one release from this series - it would be this one, also designed as an audio ancillary to Martin Scoreses' film "No Direction Home" from which it is not, however "the soundtrack"! But nonetheless an indispensable acquisition for a Dylan fan.

Bob Dylan is Bob Dylan and nobody else can play his songs better than him! Like some of the songs better on the album versions, but this is still great!
