Bought this printer to replace our 3 year old Canon PIXMA MG7150 which had become defective and was cheaper to replace than repair. Time will tell if the MX925 is as good printing in colour with only 5 ink cartridges instead of the 6 used in the MG7150. Like the similar menu and functions as before. Uses same ink cartridges as the MG7150 less the grey, which meant we could continue to uses those we have in stock. It is relatively simple to set up and put into use. The controls are easy to understand after a short time familiarising. This is the third Canon printer we have bought, the first being an excellent PIXMA MP600 which was phenomenally good but became obsolete after 7 years when Win 8.i OS arrived and driver for the printer was not available.

Canon make great printers, however they are now made to a price. I have had 3 now and they are barely lasting past the guarantee period. Shame Canon. Billy Brooks

Simple smart design, compact and quick and easy (and cheap) to use - I liked this so much I bought two more for our little home-office set up. I had previously splashed out a lot more on two Canon Maxify printers as I was lured by the promise of the very latest design, the latest technology, large ink tanks not needing replacement so often and two large paper trays. They were disastrous - design, cost, size, inconvenience, noise, time etc etc etc. I am pleased to say they have been sold at a huge loss because now I have these brilliant printers - again built by Canon but obviously the designers knew what they where doing and got it right with this model. I have a small business and really cant afford to buy 'genuine' Canon inks but have happily used compatible inks for years now on this model. I will happily recommend this printer to anyone that wants a simple down-to-earth reliable printer that just works every time you want it to!Read full review

I bought this to replace a worn out MG7550 which had brilliant photo print qualities. I was a bit nervous of print quality but shouldn't have worried. The print quality on A4 photos is excellent and as good as the MG7550. Easy to set up and once you find your way round the menus easy to use. Does take a bit more room than my previous printer and because of the ADF a bit taller as well. It is quite noisy in use but as its in a spare room that's not a problem for me. Airprint from Ipad and IPhone works well and WIFI good although I had to enter the password manually as it didn't connect using WPS. Otherwise so far cant fault it. Pros : - Holds more paper than the MG7550 : Excellent print quality ; Easy to set up ; easy to use; Cons:- Larger footprint than the MG7550 ; quite noisy ;

I was fascinated how simple it was to set up the printer, mainly thanks to the great (cartoon) instructions. In no time I was printing wireless from my computer and mobile. One will need the online manual at some point, because there are indeed lots of features and while most are intuitive on the screen of the printer or on the computer, some may need consulting the manual. I was impressed I even got the EU plug, although the product came from the UK. Attention to details of the seller. The printing speed is not great, same as scanning. That's probably the worst aspect of it. The quality is good though and that's where you forget the speed at which these were processed. The colours are good and easy to install. It's quite heavy and massive, so make sure you secure enough space on your desk for it. But once you have, you'll find it replaces a lot of other tools you've had. It arrives rather quickly and in no time you'll be printing your documents.Read full review
