Your bid is a legal and binding contract, and we treat it as such, so please make sure you really want the item before bidding. To help you make your decision, we are always happy to answer your questions by email or telephone. By bidding, you acknowledge you have read and understood all of our terms, conditions, shipping and other clauses in our auctions. Very rarely, we must end an auction early due to an error in the listing, discovery of damage to an item, or sale of the item in our shop. We appreciate your understanding in these circumstances.

Accurate listings
We sell valuable antiques so we understand you need relevant and accurate information to help you in your decision to bid. Therefore, we write accurate and relevant listings stating condition and age.
Remember, most antiques will show some wear because they are old and have been used. In some instances, they may present historical repairs that we are not aware of. No refunds will be made for a repair allegedly de-valuing the item.
We are experienced antique dealers but not professional appraisers. Therefore, age and value stated in listings reflect our professional opinion, correct to the best of our knowledge and based on vast and long experience.
We take pictures intended to show our antiques from all angles and to provide you with relevant and accurate representation on which to base your decision to purchase. So please have a careful look at our pictures before bidding. If are at all unsure about a picture or would like to more information, we are always happy to send additional pictures or to answer your questions by email or telephone.
We think it is also crucial to you to have an accurate knowledge of the dimensions of our items. Therefore, we include a lot of information about this in our listings. We always measure with care, so our measurements are deemed reliable (but not guaranteed, as, on rare occasions, we could make measuring, typing or clerical errors). If you believe there is a factual discrepancy, please notify us prior to the end of the auction for clarification.
You are always very welcome to view our items or to obtain your own appraisal or valuation. Viewing of valuable items can be arranged at your convenience by making an appointment.
Valuable small items
We want valuable collectibles, silver, pottery and other small antique items to arrive to you safely, so we send them by Royal Mail Special Delivery which offers up to £500 guarantee in case of loss or damage.
