Advertised to cut limbs up to 3/4 " , however I cut a limb 1/2/" & it jammed up & would not open fully. Also the rotation of the one handle is a problem for causing the clipper to slip out of your hand. I did like the closing button on top of the handle, well designed & works well. Overall this clipper is excellent for small branches as long as the clipper is held straight to the branch. Price seemed high in comparison to others I have seen since purchasing this item.

Patented Trick Pony has handle that flies out sideways to engage gears. Huh? Dunno why. Squirms around in the hand and plastic-on-plastic gears sticky even after oiling. Do you expect a power pruner to have a handle fling itself out sideways when opened? Buy it if you do. Cuts well enough and slim nose on one side gets into wee spots without damaging plant. Not my cup of tea.

It's a Fisker's product so the quality is good. I have the ratchet loppers from them and love them but the gear on this product does not give the same kind of extra power I experience in the loppers. The other thing is the span of the handles is too large for my hands so I find I am cutting out on the end of the blade.

I had a pair of these Fiskars pruners and I lost them. I search until I found these. Easy to use, fits in your hand nicely, Sharp precise cuts. Price was awesome.

I love them. This is my 2nd pair. Actually 3rd pair. One pair got thrown in yard waste can by accident. I just wish they made some that are smaller for a women’s small hand.
