Its a right bugger to fit, but worth it when you do. Have the sliders down and keep the capstan wound as tight as possible. I then connected both cables to the back slider and back pulleys but just the bottom one at the front. Leaving the cable off the top front pulley gave enough slack to connect to slider. Run the cable on the top pulley through the side notch. Use a small crosshead screwdriver in the hole in the pulley to lever the cable over the edge turning the pulley as you do.

Hard to fit, but worth it.
Its a right bugger to fit, but worth it when you do as its much cheaper than changing the whole mechanism. This is what I did. Rig up all the new cables and wind the capstan as tight as you can, and keep it held. Have the sliders down, remember to keep the capstan tight. I then connected both cables to the back slider and back pulleys but only the bottom cable and round its pulley at the front. Leaving the cable off the top front pulley gave enough slack to connect the last cable to the top pull of the front slider. I ran the cable across the face of the top front pulley, with it coming off the pulley through the side notch; sort of de-railed. Use a small crosshead screwdriver in the hole in the pulley as a pivot and then lever the cable up over the rim of the pulley, using the ... Repair Kit
The kit arrived in good time and looks good quality. However. No instructions on how to do the job which may have helped, but to be honest after two of us, both competent home mechanics, struggled for two hours to fit this kit, we gave up as we just could not get the kit to fit. Although the replacement wires were the correct length we just couldn't get the wire lengths correct, and not helped that the cable ends are smaller than standard to have z tendency to pop off adding to the frustration. I can only liken this to doing a rubik's cube. Blindfolded. With one arm tied behind your back. While it was worth a punt for the money, my advice would be: save yourself a lot of frustration and put the money you'd pay for this toward a new regulator that's ready to bolt in.The kit arrived in good time and looks good quality. I bought this because a cable broke on my Fiesta 2008 electric window. It is a complete set of cables and other parts which is good quality. It was difficult to attach the cable to the round sprocket due to cable being needed under high tension but after much persistence, I managed to get it done. There is a video on YouTube on how remove the inner door parts but not how to replace the parts so just copy the original.I bought this because a cable broke on my Fiesta 2008 electric window.
