Great toy, you can set it to run for 5-20 minutes and it has a variety of speeds for the laser. I've used it multiple times daily and the batteries ran out after about 3/4 weeks so can't complain about the battery life (although could be better as most things!). Great purchase, worth the money and has a guarantee from Petsafe for 2 years, even better.

My only complaint is that it Noisey.. My cat wouldn't play with it for a few days because of the noise but was still curious. Now she plays with it in short nutta bursts for about 7mins, then she's clocks it.. shes a pretty clued cat and realises very fast that she's never going to catch, smell, or taste the laser.. she now just lays down in front of it on her back n waits for the laser to come to her. She might slightly move a paw if it's near .

My little cat loves this toy and it's so funny watching him chase it and trying to catch the dots 😂🤣 This is the 3rd laser toy from frolic I have purchased in the last 4 years for him and i have to say its by far the best, he chases this one until the timer runs out and waits for me to restart it where as the first two he lost interest in after 5 mins. Its bigger than I thought it was going to be which isn't a problem for us but it is extremely loud when it's on (anyone else's loud?) as I don't know if that's the way it should be or if it's maybe a faulty unit, doesn't bother the cat though and he's happy playing with it

I bought this to replace a cheaper toy which had worn out. It's very sturdy and well made. The timer function is useful as my cat has had enough after 10 mins or so. When I turn the unit on, I set the timer for 20 mins and know I won't be wasting batteries if I forget to turn it off. It does make a bit of noise as it rotates (as they all do). My cat seems to like the variable pattern. Well worth the money and having two lasers it would suit a multiple cat home too.
