The buyer must contact us for authorisation to return any item before any items are returned to SICS Trading
If an item is damaged on arrival, the buyer has to report the damage to us within 3 days of receipt.
It is the buyer's responsibility in making sure that that the returned item is adequately packaged for safe transit and reaches SICS Trading. The buyer has 14 days from receipt to return the item due to a fault for a refund or replacement of their choice
A 3 month repair or replacement guarantee is given for all items - if a failure develops after 14 days of receipt of the item then technical support and advice will be given to the buyer in order to resolve any issues with the item. If the item cannot be fixed and is deemed faulty by technical support then the buyer can return the item for a repair/replacement, if we cannot repair/replace the item then a refund of the purchase price will be issued to the buyer. Unless otherwise stated in the item description, all items have a 3 month warranty/guarantee only.
The Buyer has a 7 day "cooling off" period in which the buyer can return the purchased item for a refund of the original transaction amount. (The buyer is responsible for the postage costs incurred in returning the item)
Providing the following terms are met:
- The item has not been damaged in any way
- The item is still in "as new" condition and in a suitable condition for resale
- The item is returned with its ORIGINAL packaging and documentation which came with the item.
- The item is received by us within 7 days of your reciept
- Failure to comply with any of the terms above will result in the original postage amount not to be refunded and additional surcharges to be applied to the refund ranging from 10% to a maximum of 100% depending on the severity of the breached terms and the affect on the resale value of the returned item
Please note: The 7 day cooling off period does not apply for Consumables, Software, Visual material, virtual products, non-compatible electrical spares and hygiene sensitive products. (This applies to all dental, hair removal, bulbs, electrical parts, magazines, serial numbers, manuals, batteries, downloadable, clinical and pharmaceutical items. In addition the 3 month guarantee is only applicable is certain cases. Each case in these product areas will be dealt with individually with reason and in accordance to UK consumer law. Please contact us if you require further information in regards to a specific return policy about that specific product
If you have bought an item under the presumption that the item would be compatible for your intended use and then come to find/realise that it is the wrong item and is incompatible then the order is not valid for a return, as it is your responsibility to verify compatibility. Please note the “7 cooling off period” is void for incompatibility issues as well. It is your responsibility to understand and verify what you are buying before purchasing.
If you have misread/misinterpreted of the item description (due to item description not being clear) to which you wish to return the item, please report the matter to us within 7 days of receiving the item. Any return requests after 7 working days will be void.
No returns will be accepted whatsoever to items which have been damaged by the customer
Returns are subject to a processing time of 3-10 working days for the item to be inspected, assessed against the reason for return and concluded.
If a refund is not granted due to the following reasons:
- Item was found not to be faulty
- Item was damaged by the user
A surcharge payment (equivalent to the original postage amount paid) will be required in order for the item(s) to be dispatched out back to the buyer and no refund will be made.
If an item is damaged on arrival or is malfunctioning due to a physical fault, SICS Trading will ask the buyer to provide us with evidence of the damage. This can be achieved in most cases by simply taking a digital image and emailing the image as an attachment to us.
If you have reason to believe the item supplied by us is not genuine and is indeed counterfeit, you can return the item to us for the guarantee amount stated in the listing description providing that the buyer returns the item unused and presents reasonable valid evidence from the manufacturer confirming the counterfeit status of the item.
