What a great clock. All I did is put the batteries in, press the radio control button, and then 5 minutes later (approx) the clock is sync'd to the UK atomic clock. It could not be easier. There are manual controls on the clock but I have not had a need for them. Battery powered only, not AC powdered, and there is no back light (harder to see in the dark). It may bother some people but for me I do not have a problem with it.

a good quality clock with sensible features. The display , however, is hard for to see except in full natural or powerful artificial light. Older people whom the product is primarily for will usually have less than perfect sight. At least the clock is light enough to be carried into a lit area (if the person remembers to do that.) A backlight would double its usefulness.

The idea of this clock is great. The downside of it is that it is too basic for the money. You can't see the date or day very easily. There's no anti shine. So no matter where you put it you have to get up close. There's no interior light. You feel you want to press it to see the day. I thought it told you when it's morning, afternoon and evening in intervals but it doesn't. I had seen one like thus before I got this one and presumed were the same. Can't believe I would of had to pay nearly £20 more just for that advertised elsewhere. It's a shame that people in need have to pay si much just for a day and date to be added to a clock

I bought one of these for my Mum to help her as she is always forgetting the date time and year: a sad symptom of Dementia. Only one problem she forgets she has it and although it is in a prominent place she still looks to the place her old clock used to be. The display on this one is illegible in that location. The screen is difficult to read in certain lights.
