Try and get your wheel nuts undone with the 'standard' supplied brace after the tyre fitting folk have air-hammered up your wheel nuts. So; these braces are just the job and make easy work of undoing tight wheel nuts. I would think the brace covers most sizes of wheel nut i.e. four options, if not just buy relevant 1/2" drive socket and you are done. I have had several of these braces over the years and they stand to the job asked of them. Recommended addition to your on-board tool kit.

At first glance this seems great value for money. The first time I used it to remove my wheel nuts the head twisted and consequently the socket will not stay on the wrench by itself. Maybe I had over tightened the nuts previously (Every body does) but it should have been capable of removing them with out twisting the tool. I would not rely on this tool to change my wheel when I am out and about. I don't blame anyone for how the tool failed on it's first use, but it does show you only get what you pay for. I would think it would be ok for normal use but it can not cope with an over tightened wheel nuts.

This is a tool for emergency use, primarily. I have tried it out in an experimental way as the wheelnuts on my Wife's car were Impact Hammered on and impossible to slacken, using the wheel brace supplied with the car. This extendable brace made slackening them far more easy. PLUS it offered 4 No. different socket sizes. Hopefully she will not have to use it. BUT in the unlikely circumstance it will enable her to change a wheel. I have now torqued the nuts up to the value recommended by the manufacturer. Thank you Professional Tools. Good value Too? How do you manage to keep the price so low for a perfectly usable wrench Too!

I wanted to change a tyre on my car. The small metal bar in the car would not give me enough leverage to loosen the nuts. This item did the job. It's strong, compact and a few but size options. It was delivered quickly and I would recommend.

I’m not one to complain normally but VERY disappointed with this brace wrench The very 1st wheel nut I tried to remove on my car, the wrench twisted / distorted, clearly the item had not been hardened. The distortion was so great, the bearing that holds the socket to the wrench was jammed & the socket simply kept falling off See attached photos.
