This has solved my laundry problems. I live in NE Scotland in a small cottage with no room for a tumble dryer plus it does seem to rain every day so getting washing dried isn't a simple trip to the washing line in the back garden. This item in the house means with a little planning ahead (load size and 'need it soonest' factors) we finally have clean laundry without expensive trips to the launderette. Very easy to set up, heats quickly and safely, dries everything from socks and smalls to towels, duvets, and bed sheets; best if used with cover to retain heat in a way that means most laundry dries well, even fabric hanging over the heated bars. The cover btw, is a bit fiddly to use but is well worth the effort as using it cuts drying time almost in half. I did find trying to put an entire load of washing on it meant longer drying time even with the cover on so now I split a large load (my washer is a 9kg) and within three hours every thing on the rack is dry. Best? Best to me is not having to flip or rotate during the drying time - I folded a 13.5 hollow-fibre tog duvet, draped it across and over the top rack with long ends falling across the front of the two lower racks. I put pillow slips on middle and bottom racks, tented it and walked away. Checked every half hour or so but all seemed to be drying evenly so didn't flip the duvet...three hours later the duvet was dry completely through. It is a bit awkward to move and store despite being thin when folded down but does store in the bedroom press easily enough and the wheels mean it's easy to roll out to the hall where I set it up for a drying session. Bonus: even with the cover on, this item provides 'radiant heat' to the area it is set up in. Nothing lasts forever so when this reaches it expiry, I will definitely be buying another one.Read full review
