The book follows on from Wool - nicely pulls together the complex story to connect the Silo's past with the 'present'. Not sure how the author managed to pull all of the ideas together after the end of the first book in the trilogy, but it works really well. Not giving it a 5* review, as I don't think it was quite as good as Wool, but for fans of the first book, it is a must-read!

A good story, well written. It's very readable and moves at a good pace. It was very easy to lose yourself in this carefully crafted dystopian world.

Good eBay experience and all arrived on time, but the cover is not embossed like books normally are in this series. And I checked a copy in a book shop and it was embossed. Suggests this might be a cheaply produced version. But all the content is there so if you don’t mind the cover, this is fine!

Hugh Howey is a brilliant writer and all his books are well worth reading. Once started you won't want to put them down.
