Ilife 5S Part 2 of 2.
In Part 1 of this review I looked at the vacuum part of the Ilife 5s and I gave it a big 5 stars. so now to look at the mopping part of the machine. Again I must explain that in the box, that the Ilife 5s came in didn't have a users Manual, so I have got everything from YouTube which in itself should tell you just how easy it is to set this machine up, and so looking at the Youtube video all seemed very easy. so I turned the machine off, opened the top took out the rubbish bin and replaced it with the water tank, this has three water marks written clearly on the tank, so of course I filled it to the top mark, put the tank into the machine placed the mop part underneath and set to go, and that really was it. At first it didn't seem to be leaving any water behind, so was it working, and the answer to that question is yes it is working. Now we have quite a large floor to wash or to vacuum for that matter so I wasn't totally sure if this machine would be up to the challenge, Ive only had the machine a few days so you could say that the jury is out, but things are looking good, and if you use the machine quite often and you look after it I can't see why it wouldn't cope, having said that you will still need to do a deep clean every so often, so this isn't the total replacement to your existing vacuum, but I'm guessing at a quarter of the price to some cleaners I don't think you should expect it to be. The point is that I don't care it means that most times I can go out leaving the machine alone to carry out the cleaning duties for me. So to sum up. Vacuuming I would give the Ilife 5s 5 big stars. for washing/mopping the floor I would give it 4 stars but overall I would still give it 5 stars, It keeps the grand children quite as well. great machine. Well worth the money.
