We bought a sofa from dfs for 1500£ when people come to our house they prefer the lazy boy cinema sofa that we bought from eBay as it's more comfortable and quite high and the seats recline all the way which is good when watching a movie

You expect a new sofa to be in good working order. You don't expect the seating to sag just 3 days after it was delivered. Also, you expect a new sofa to actually be made to a good spec but when the velcro parts do not even reach the velcro strips to hide the frame, that is very poor workmanship. Not only that, it costs you money for the company to deliver and assemble in your home where they will have spotted the issues and yet said nothing. Then when the company admits the faults, they will not give you the money back because the team did the job of assembling the faulty sofa. This sofa should have a warning about weight restriction. Asking the sales team and the driver they both confirm there is no weight restriction on the recline but then after 3 days the sofa sagged and they admit there is a weight restriction but do not know what weight. It is not listed on the website or the ebay page and now I have a sofa that is damaged after 3 days. So, be wary when purchasing a recliner. Argos, DFS, SCS and all reputable companies all specify the weight restrictions on their reclining sofas yet this company hides this information.Read full review
