I was looking for a math building game that would help my AD(H)D 2nd grader. This one was recommended. Unfortunatly it deals mostly with multiplication. We are not there yet. I do look forward to him playing with this game when it becomes appropriate. So it is not a total waste. HOWEVER, I am STILL LOOKING for a Great Game for addition and subtraction! Would also like to find some of Learning Zones games for the DS! A_Schweppe@yahoo.com
My grandchild loves playing video games and hates doing math. Now He plays with the game, and now he does better in math. This works better than taking away his toy. Just restrict him to this game or no game. After you leave, well he is drawn to his toy, and he discovers that this game is better than no game!
I bought this for my ten year old daughter to help her with her math learning in school. She said it was "entertaining, exciting and fun". Using the Nintendo DS instead of a computer hopefully will accomplish more and be less boring for her, as she will be able to take it with her.
