Nice scent, similar to Creed Aventus, not as long lasting
As per title, yes I can confirm the scent is similar to that of Creed Aventus but the aroma does of course dissipate quicker...my particular bottle of Mont Blanc was about 4 1/2 times cheaper than the Creed so you have to expect this...and I do find you need to spray double/treble the amount. This is good value and I will likely purchase again. DO NOT make the same mistake I almost made which was to send back the bottle as the scent didn't last long enough (initially 20-30 minutes). Very weak fragrance
Having used several Mont Blanc products before, pens included, I've always been impressed by their quality. My favourite fragrance is Legend Night and I had great hopes of Explorer especially as it was an EDP rather than an EDT which is what I usually use. Disappointingly I find it very short lived with friends and family unable to detect it after only 2-3 hours, which I would expect of a low quality EDT or body deodorant. It will not put me off the brand but I'm glad I only bought this as it was a special offer, well below normal retail. I would advise anyone considering buying Explorer EDP to try before they buy. Such a strong masculine smell.. it's the beat fragrance I have even better than channel blue, which is now my second favourite

Good Alternative to that other more expensive brand
It surprises me to read that other guys think this is a weak scent. Just a single spray lasts all night and lingers in your clothes and bedding. I’ve taken to just spraying a little in my hand and dabbing it on my body that way to lessen the strength of scent that can be too strong if you’re not careful. Really like it and find it masculine and fresh.
