Excellent images in a compact body giving real photographers lots of control.
The Good This is an excellent camera to always have with you, it produces excellent image quality with lots of control. It's well made and built to last. 16MP is easily enough for most uses and the images are very good with only slight softness at the edges if used at F2. I got this second hand for £300, thats a third of a new X100V, a bargain. I tried the x100 as well, this is also excellent and 12MP is enough if you just post of instagram and do not intend to crop. The flash works well and it has automatic modes for point and shoot if that's what you need. The APS-C sensor is excellent. The bad. The scroll wheel on the back is fiddly The autofocus can be slow to lock sometimes - the firmware updated helped. I found the buttons on the back too easy to press by accident, I contantly keep changing the view mode in the hybrid viewfinder by accident. The fixed lens could be limiting to some but having one focal length actually makes you a better photographer in my opinion. I'd give it 8/10, the X100V gets a 9/10 Read full review

A stunning top-end professional level camera.
I bought the Fujifilm X-100s because my lifestyle does not let me carry round bags of lenses, and heavy cameras when travelling. I thought that the fixed lens, with no zoom might be a problem, but it has not turned out that way. The 35mm lens is usable for most shooting that i want, and the big plus is the staggering professional picture quality that this camera delivers. The feature I really like is "Film Simulation", where you can get some very good effects by mimicking various film emulsions produced by Fuji. The camera is a real top-end product, but it means that the older X-100 is now being offered for half its price (despite some rip-off dealers offering it at the same price as the X-100s, and hoping you won't notice). The older camera is an excellent buy, but I still think the new features in the X-100s make it the best choice.Read full review

X100S - a future classic
X100S - lovely to hold and to use and perfectly matches modern technology with the feel of older classic cameras. I actually prefer the look and the features of the X100S over the later T,F and V versions. I see this becoming a desirable classic of the future - it will be with me for a long time!

The upgrade
As soon as it arrived i was taking photos to see any comparisons to my old xm1 camera, already I am in love with it. I wanted to get a camera which suits street photography and I really am pleased with my choice. It's excellent value even though it's been previously used. I can wait to take it to Amsterdam with me on Saturday :D thanks for the super quick postage!!
