Fantastic Router

This router is fantastic, I simply turned off the router function on my Vodafone router which then made it a modem only and then connected it with an Ethernet cable to the Netgear Nighthawk. I then connected the nighthawk via another Ethernet cable to my computer. I then turned my computer on, and the Netgear router wizard opened up and I simply followed the instructions. I’m not by any means a computer minded person but a child could connect this router. It is also very fast and has increased both my download and upload speeds, without increasing my Vodafone package payment price. If I change broadband supplier, I simply connect to their router and follow the Netgear connection wizard again. If you want to increase your connection speeds then this is the router for you, I’m 56 years old and managed this without any problems.

Netgear R7000 VPN Router - The Daddy!

Exceptional value for money the Netgear R7000 Nighthawk Router. These things are normally upwards of £300 and I bagged this bad boy for under £190 with my VPN pre-configured. I have to say that the range on the router is amazing. Definitely the daddy for routers. Bit on the large side compared with my SKY hub but advantages such as great speed, improved connectivity and superb value for money far outweigh any small niggles. Love it.

Great Router

This router has been a great buy. I purchased it after looking into flashed routers with a VPN built in. This router scored very highly and I was quoted over £250 for one that had been pre-configured. I decided to give it a go myself after reading some good tutorials on the interest and I had it all up and running within a few hours. Now any device in my home that connects to the internet goes through the built in VPN on this router. It runs great and the control panel offers some great information and tweaks. Just so you know you will have to purchase a VPN package in order to have it on 24/7 but they are worth the money in my opinion with all the hackers and snoopers out there!
