Whilst your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive (EU DSD) we must remind you that same directive places an obligation on the buyer to return the unwanted item in the original condition in which you received them ( ie fit for resale to another customer) . This is very important, unless we do receive the item back in the same condition that we sent it out you invalidate the rights afforded to you under the EU DSD. This includes all original tags and packaging.
If we send you an item in a box we do so to offer protection in transit, you are obliged to return the item accordingly. Sadly we have noted an increase in inconsiderate returns ie clothing rolled up and thrown in to a bag. These are not acceptable returns and will not be acknowledged as such. It is with regret that we must labour the point that unless you take the same care when sending back as we do when sending out you jeopardize your right to a refund and will be responsible for paying additional shipping to retrieve your return. 99% of buyers are considerate with their returns; this message is aimed at the 1% who believe that anything goes.
All items will undergo a routine inspection upon their return. Please note, we double check for quality and video all orders prior to shipment, as there have been a noticeable increase in items that were not damaged on shipping ‘apparently’ arriving slightly damaged wherein the buyer attempts to extort a discount as a condition of acceptance of the item, or to use that as the excuse for a late return. Please note that we do not tolerate such exploitation and will not yield to extortion and moreover will not hesitate to report any such matters to Ebay .
If you are returning an item, you must contact us as soon as possible to obtain a return reference number and the returns address. We will simultaneously ask Ebay to send you a cancellation notice to accept .As the law allows the buyer a generous returns notice period we can’t approve any exceptions, please do not ask us to
If free postage has been provided ( ie incorporated within the price ) we reserve the right to recover shipping costs on frivolous returns.
When trying on items of clothing, ensure that you are not wearing perfume, make up or a deodorant, which may leave a scent or marks on the item. We will be unable to accept the return of any item where there is evidence that this instruction has not been followed.
We recommend that you do not remove the tag until you are sure that you wish to keep the item.
For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. It is also advisable to keep a receipt of postage for your records. The items are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse.
Once a return has been notified to us it is your responsibility to ship the item back directly promptly thereafter, unfortunately as I am sure that you can appreciate we cannot keep a returns window open indefinitely.
Once your items have been received into our offices we will then process all refunds and exchanges within 1-4 days.
We only refund return postage costs if the order was sent out incorrectly. Please be aware that it can take up to 7 working days for refunds to appear on your bank statement.
