This lens is very small, almost dwarfed by the camera body. Its also extremely affordable. Don't be tempted to dismiss it on size or low price, this lens is "shockingly" sharp with none of the noise you find with cheap lenses. My copy, bought second hand and in Mint condition on eBay was a very reasonable price, the first few images out of the camera (excellent autofocus) had me saying out loud "wow", at 100% zoom the image is sharp and at 200% still sharp-the lens is that good! Depth of field at 1.8 is very shallow! Note that this lens in full-frame camera equivalent is a 90mm, a perfect portrait lens. Highly recommended.

Bought this very small lens as a new user to the micro four thirds system with some reservations as I am used to large lenses of a DSLR. Well I need not of worried it produces amazing sharp images at wide open lens openings and its size is so small you hardly know its on the camera. Would recommend to anyone on this format for Portraiture which it is great for. Best sharpness achieved around two stops down.

Bought to go on DJI X5s drone camera, brilliant lens. Very sharp when properly focused, AF is generally very good on X5s, occasionally drifts but that is down to the camera rather than the lens. For any drone OPs out there, a great lens to have in the bag. Most people are used to the wide angle view of consumer drones, so using a lens like this really gives a different look.

What can I say about this lens that hasn't already been said by more eminent MFT users than I. The lens is sharp, fast and so tiny it's a must have for even the smallest CSC user's kit bag. The focal length finds application in many situations besides the obvious portraiture use

- largely good enough for a 12 Mp sensor. Nice image and colours. Will see how durable it is. It fits in the space of the Lumix 14-42mm lens but more luminous (important for the underwater case). Just mind (for the Lumix GF3 body) that Lumix has the antishake device in the lenses, Olympus in the cameras (but no antishake is no problem underwater).
