Only 4 stars because my LBS had a heck of a time getting the tire to not leak air. The key seems to be to put 3 FULL syringes of Stan's gunk in each tire, and then blast file the tire with ultra high pressure compressed air. After 4 trips to the shop, they now hold air, and have for a week. Only lose about 3 lbs between daily rides, which is fine. They are super steerable, with good cornering, and limited edge roll on corners. Grip on rocks and roots here in Maine is quite good, although no fat tire will ever be as good as a 2.1 26 incher. Side walls are thin, so I'm being careful in rock gardens. Other riders complain of side wall puncture, but so far so good.

The 29x3" Fat B Nimble is on the narrower side of this class of tire. On a 35mm rim the casing width measures 2.7". I was able to fit them on a standard 29er bike and after some adjustments, they fit.

The tires are great. I'm running them on the front for a bit more bite. I have 20 psi in the front. Taking corners at higher speeds, I wouldnt go under 20psi. I have a 30mm id rim.

These are narrower than my specialized 3.0 tires. If you just want a plus tire these are nice and light just not wide
