Elderly now but an excellent little machine. Bought to replace an identical player that has given up the ghost so lack of remote not a problem.

Bought this for my daughters Christmas. It was a good price for a first Blu-Ray player purchase from a well known and respected maker. My daughter is very pleased with the picture quality and likes the easy to use remote control. It has played every disc she has put in it so far without any problems. My only dislike is lack of ethernet connection. I guess if it needs an upgrade I will have to use flash drive to do this but I am not sure. Overall it is good value for money.
The player is all that I thought it would be giving good quality replays of most discs being blu-ray, DVD and cds, both from original and computer recorded for photos etc. with the exception of some older formats. I would recommend this player to anyone wanting a simple easy to use system.
Value for money. Very easy to setup and very easy to use. No problems so far even with my 4 year old operating this player. Definately a must have, as I do believe that Philips equipment are very reliable. Hope this helps.
