All my old Philips shavers had a flick switch where the trimmer stayed up when you are using it...this on as soon as you press on it the trimmer falls. I regret buying it based on this. It seems with Phillips the cheaper the shaver you buy the better it is

As I am retired I did not want to spent £90-£100 on an electric shaver. I felt this was a well known make, although maybe not the top model, it would be sufficient for me, and a lot cheaper. It has tuned out a better than I expected, it holds a good charge, it is quieter than my previous shaver, and more importantly it gives me a really good close shave. The heads of the shaver float well following your contours easily. I would have no hesitation in saying that this shaver is "Really Good Value For The Money".
