About this product
Project Zero for Sony PlayStation 2 has been called one of the most terrifying video games ever made. Based on a true story, filled with great special effects and a gripping plot, Project Zero summons the player into contact with ghosts and spirits, while leaving them to devise a way to handle horror without the use of weapons. Known as Fatal Frame in the US, this is a game that leads the main character, Miku, into a haunted mansion with the hopes of finding her missing brother. Instead of guns and grenades, Miku is only armed with an old camera that has the ability to show the ghosts that infiltrate the mansion. The camera images in Project Zero are in 3D, allowing one to become a first-person player. As the player sees through the eyes of camera, it becomes evident that the spirits can only be combated or controlled through the frame of the camera. Third-person graphics are excellent when the camera is not in use, plus Fatal Frame also comes equipped with amazing surround sound audio. Another excellent feature of the game is that there are no holds or cutaways as the player smoothly enters the door of a new room in the mansion. For a chilling and frightful gaming experience, Project Zero is considered a must-play. A combination of great story, superb art, and innovative technology make it a game that one must attempt many times, to find the outcome of Miku’s brother, no matter how terrifying.
