A bit of a crack on the cover, but musically fine.

A greatest Hits CD from the Pirate and a good introduction to his work. 13 studio tracks here covering most of his popular material and representative of the various styles he and his Coral Reefers can cover; country, calypso, rock, pop and just plain fun. If you're a confirmed Parrotthead you'll have all these songs anyway, probably on a live album, but here they are all sung straight and, if you're not yet into this guy's music, then here's a good place to start off. Should you find that you like what you hear, try one of his live albums. The music gets a little ragged, but you can't help but feel the fun and the atmosphere coming through and it's easy to see why this guy has such a huge fan base.
I Liked the Margueritaville song because it reminded me of my holiday , however some of the lirics in the other songs had a lot to be desired and a bit 'near the mark'if you get what I mean.
This is such a great cross section of music from an American master of the musical story. From beginning to end this country/folk artist could live off of his backlog of music but still going stronger than ever.
