Bought two of these from Lowes in 2015, pretty good deal at the time, less than $40 for the pair. Like that you have a long cord to put the light in a dark spot under the deck while the solar charging panel remains out in the sun. Both worked well on our south-facing deck but just recently one stopped working. Did some detective work and figured out that the solar panel is no longer charging the batteries. Unfortunately Lowes has stopped carrying the item and I can't seem to find any customer service website for the brand.

I use these on my farm to light my driveway and walkways. Since the solar panel is separate from the fixture, I can put lights on the shaded side of a structure that never get direct sun! They use AA rechargeables, so it will be easy to replace the batteries, though I've yet to do so after a couple years. Not sure why Lowe's dropped these, 'cause they are much more useful than anything else they currently offer. I'm glad to find them on E-bay, having bought about a dozen so far as I find new places to put them.

The Bad - I have 4 of them and 2 of them where broken, the adjustment knob on one of them has been glued on so I cant adjust the up and down, as for the other, the head came right off the unit, I was able to put it back on back on. I have yet to open the last 2.. The Good - They are solar with battery's, very bright, and they work.
